Traidcraft Exchange, a development charity organization focused bringing people together to use the power of trade to create sustainable solutions to poverty, in partnership with SHIVYAWATA (Tanzania Federation of Disabled Peoples Organizations),is implementing an agri-business development programme titled ’Promoting the Inclusion of People with Disabilities in Cocoa, Coffee and Palm Oil Value Chains’in Five districts in Mbeya, Songwe, Morogoro and Dar es salaam regions of Tanzania.Traidcraft Exchange hasavacancy for anEnterprise Development Manager tooversee the overall implementation of the project, based in Dar es salaam, Tanzania.The position holders will have the responsibility of planning, implementation and management of the project, reporting, line management of the project officer, enterprise development officerand partner as well as buildingpartnership with various stakeholders.
Prospective candidates will have;
⦁ Advanced university degree in entrepreneurship, business administration, agriculture
⦁ At least 6 years management experience and a strong agricultural value chain development focus
⦁ Experience in project management including project finance management
⦁ Participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation skills
⦁ Report writing skills
⦁ Good understanding of agricultural value chain development
⦁ Be willing to reside in Dar es salaam andtravel regularly to all the project sites.
Knowledge of disability issues and practical experience of working with people with disability will be an added advantage.
