Reporting Analyst (Grade 8)
Job Country: Tanzania
JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of this job is to ensure that processes needed for the quality preparation, tracking and analysing of financial reports are implemented and maintained.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Get the closing instructions from global and ensure we are in line with the stated changes/instructions communicated.
- Ensure all revenues, DC and OPEX are booked to the correct account
- Balance sheet entries are posted with the correct flows
- Ensure all the intercompany entries are posted with the correct Intercompany code and all intercompany accounts must reconcile before promotion
- Prepare the PL, BS and CF with comments for review
- Coordinate month closing to ensure we meet Millicom deadlines
- Direct oversight of financial closing and consolidation controls, by ensuring all the controls under this area are performed before submission of financial information.
- Preparation of annual financial statements and quarterly statutory reports
- Review and approve changes in the Local Chart of account ensure they are aligning with the group chart of accounts

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Degree in B-com, Accounting, Finance, Finance & Administration or related qualification.
· Have or in the process of acquiring professional qualifications. (ACCA,CIMA or CPA)
· Master’s degree is an added advantage
· Well versed with MS Office applications and SUN SYSTEM.
